Start Point Lighthouse

Skipper The Bear has been enjoying the beaches at Beesands And Hallsands today. We arrived to thunder & lightening, then it quickly turned to beautiful sunshine - peppered by sharp, warm showers whenever I took my coat off!

Beesands beach was deserted, so Skipper had the run of the shingle to himself & made great use of it, chasing seagulls up and down the entire length of the beach.

The roads of Devon are hellishly narrow, winding and bordered by high, scratchy bushes.....after picking our way down many a twisty turny route (without signposts) we came to Start Point - the Lighthouse was closed today, but Skipper still enjoyed sniffing around the Point, chasing a few birds and barking loudly!
