Red Admiral sunning it's self...

In the New Forest this morning!!

Picked up a friend after the school run and headed into the forest hoping to find the Deer...

We had a lovely walk, spotted 2 young fawns which kept their distance.

The heather was gorgeous against the blue skies...

We then stopped off at a pond nearby, only to be scuttling back to the car due to the horses being rather frisky...

Last stop of the morning before we needed to head back, was at another pond. The skies turned black and we were treated to a fabulous lightening storm... as it got closer we retreated back to the car and headed home...
