Shattered

Ailie called to say goodbye - she is off to NZ till February. I'll really miss her.

Then we headed in to Newcastle as I needed some comfy sandals. Of course it was only boots in the shops now. Anyway I enjoyed a browse while Mr C went to buy wine and coffee and some gadget he needed - don't ask, no idea.

We collected Nathaniel and went for the first time to pick Ella up from her school. It was 25 degrees and she was very hot, but she refused to change out of her uniform to play in the park, as the other children still had on theirs. She found a girl to play with on the witch's hat. They had learned to stand up and swing it, so Nathaniel, 2, thought he would do it too. Ella insisted on taking his picture on my phone, so thanks for the blip Ella.
