'Possible Light Showers' My eye!

The weather forecast was for a scalding hot day, 30 degrees with some cloud building in the West. Possibility of isolated light showers.
How wrong were they then, unless Gloucester got all of it and everyone got away scot free! It was lovely first thing when I walked the dogs but it soon clouded over and then rained, heavily, most of the day with deep booming thunder and some very bright lightning.
Wouldn't have been so bad but the Broadband has been off since last night, came back briefly this morning (when I blipped yesterdays photo) and then off all day until after 1700.
Not a great day!
