little miss

She is a little unsure of me as she doesn't really remember me but she is gradually coming round. 

Today we went to a one-year-old's birthday party,  which was more fun than I thought it would be. I met more of Mila's extended family,  ate home-made birthday cake, and got invited to a wedding.
Afterwards we went to my favourite fabric shop, in Alverstoke,  where I spent far too much !

Later, after Mila's bedtime, her Dad and I had Mum and son time and got to catch up with each other properly and, most excitingly, started properly planning the route of our American road trip next year.
