Eid Day 2

More visits today but not as much sugar.

We visited a refugee family and were shocked to see their 18 mth old son now very obviously has rickets. I've never seen such bendy legs. He's now on vit D. I'm so fond of him, partly because I was at his birth and feel so sad this has happened. He's always indoors, just doesn't get enough sunlight. The father who is a brother wants me to come and read with his wife who's not yet a sister. This is a big change. I'm excited to be asked!

This evening we visited neighbours I've never met before. She's a year older than me but was married at 13 and her daughter is 23 .I thought they were sisters at first! I love meeting a whole new family to visit.
