Wrong book, wrong place

I should be at book club discussing The Wife. Instead I am in bed reading this. A tad grumpily but realistically. The cold has turned into a fever, on heatwave day, and I have worked in the hottest room of the house as that is where all my kit is for running a webinar. I charmingly sweated my way through with my feet on a fan and under the disguise of a polyfilla kit's worth of make-up. I think I got away with it.

One more tomorrow morning and then I can succumb to this stupid, ill-timed illness if it insists on turning up again uninvited tomorrow. But only for one day as Birthdover starts on Thursday...
