Phones and films

KG and D have both been mastering their new phones today. K used his to invite us to the cinema - and here we are. We started by being the only people in the auditorium and after the loud adverts and trailers, we watched a bit of the wrong film before we realised and made a late entry through the correct door (A). It was a well made Spanish film with a few depressing bits but at least a very faintly happy ending. I don't think being late really changed the story, but I'd be more familiar with the title if we had seen the beginning :-) Afterwards we all dabbled with shopping in various ways and were too late really to have a coffee. K enquired about an amplifier for the phone signal is his house but the solution seemed a bit pricey. It was nice to go to Suwalki with K for pleasure and no urgent errands or crises to attend to. I think we should do this more often.

Otherwise it was a sad day for Poland in the European Parliament. There was a heated discussion about legitimacy of the rule of law. There is a variety of serious issues pending.
