Thundery Morning Sky

With distant rumbles of thunder rolling across the sea from France ... and a sky that looked like the apocalypse ... it made for a very atmospheric start to the day ... :o)

It's been very warm and humid today, but luckily it was mainly dry ... (apart from one heavy downpour around lunchtime and the odd light shower on and off throughout) ...

I prefer settled weather, although the odd thunderstorm can be very exciting ... and produce the most fabulous skies ... :o)
