Where there should be many green lights blinking away there is only one, orange and unchanging. After two fruitless quarter-hours trying not to listen to hold music before being disconnected and half an hour fiddling about with passwords before finding the online help to be unhelpful I predict a lunchtime trip to the local physical premises of the internet provider tomorrow, where I can hopefully make a successful request for a replacement router. Seeing as this model no longer appears on the "pick your router from those below" page I expect it should be difficult to get it replaced.
