Hover Fly

I heard on the radio this morning that because of the warm weather we have a huge increase in hover flies. Thought I'd blip the evidence from my own garden where there are lots of them This one feeding on the Dark Mullein  -- a form of verbascum.
What a gorgeous day it has been in Lincolnshire today.
