Puppy or Kitten

I know puppies like to chew on shoes but I did not know kittens do too! Sophie appears to like chewing on shoes and purses and so far I have lost 2 pairs of shoes and 2 purses. It has been 15 years since we last had a kitten and I don't remember our other cats liking shoes and purses....will have to find a safer place to store my shoes and purse! Maybe Sophie is part dog?
