Oxalis

What a beautiful day. Doesn't the sun make a difference? It did to this Oxalis that's been curled up in the dismal weather earlier in the week.

I'd been struck by a couple of other flower images this week, this by Pii and this by SarahSmith, both of which highlighted just how much an interesting background can enhance a flower shot. I hope I've managed to frame this unimposing little flower in a way that does justice to it. Thank you to these two fine fellow blippers for the lesson. More here including a bee shot I liked.

Pippa was disappointed she didn't make the podium in the stick vault at the Dogolympics. But there are plenty of other events to come.
