the best manatee . . .

The best manatee photo, I have ever taken of one, in front of our dock! I really have not seen them here for a long time. Steve, who travels on the river at least twice a day and also works and plays on the river has seen them more often, but for me this was a treat! And it is hard to get photos of them because they hide or rather swim underwater for long periods of time getting grasses and such to eat. Our little old dog Asia is still with us, but only tonight did she eat something since last Thursday, a few crunchy treats. Perhaps her nausea is finally going away?? We will meet with our vet tomorrow to see what she thinks when she examines her. Earlier today I thought she would be leaving us, but not yet. At 15-1/2, that is always a possibility...
