Convolvulus Hawk Moth

with Carly's long forefinger in for scale . Found in the polytunnel in Baltimore. I've never seen one before and am amazed at the size of it.  Of course I didnt have my camera with me and had to make do with a phone shot. 

A good day and good to be back with cuddly Fred. After petite little Mila I realise what a monster baby he is!
