My last entry dictates the knowledge I gained from Brazil, but I must conclude that studying abroad with students my age with almost the same interests as me, made me learn about not only me as a Mexican-American but it made me learn about what it is to be a college student from a different background as mine. 

We may have different race backgrounds, but in Brazil that didn't matter. We all became one, one heart wanting to know more, desiring to get more and learning to be better as a student, human and as a daughter. We all learned much from each other and we gained this friendship that possibly wouldn't have ever happened if we hadn't all put ourselves in this position of traveling. 

I must say that this experience would probably not been as great if it wasn't with these wonderful people and professors that came along.
