Up and out early this morning to Lackford Lakes...

Bernard's Hide is a great place to photograph Kingfishers... but not today, Only had the briefest of views, the resident Kingfisher was obviously looking to another part of his territory today.

I did get some nice photos of Egrets and a Grey Heron, one of the extras is an Egret enjoying a couple of dragonflies for breakfast.
