Look the geese have arrived

On this very warm sunny and looking like it was going to rain day we headed off to town to buy some birthday cards and take a break from the house.  We were carrying raincoats but the sun came out and it was so hot I was almost tempted to paddle in the sea.  

We headed along to Ottermouth where this photo was taken, as there usually is more of a breeze there.  It didn't take long before we were aware of the large number of geese accumulating in the estuary. They were chattering away and swimming around in formation, see extra.  A few were also out in the sea.  

Work is progressing well on the garden, its quite exciting now that some shape is appearing to it.
