Wild Wednesday - Kingfisher!

It's been a long time coming, and it's not magazine quality, but I got my kingfisher shot today! We used to see kingfishers at WWT Slimbridge until, a few years ago, they spent a squillion quid on a new kingfisher viewing station. From that day until today I had seen no sign of them. Today however, for a few minutes, he was there - with a couple of females hiding in the bushes. Even at 400mm on a crop camera, he was a small bird far away, but I'm glad to have captured a few photographs.
