And it's what makes us believable, trustworthy, loveable, likeable and pleasant to be with. A perfect rose may be beautiful to look at but the dried up spots, mould and decay is what makes these roses interesting - and the seed head that follows the decay is the thing that nourishes and prepares for the next phase of life.
