Goodbye Ireland

Our final day in Ireland was wonderful. We started the day with a ride in a jaunting cart through woodlands where we saw deer, beautiful scenery and Ross castle. We asked one of our group to take our photo by the lake at Ross castle.
Our lunch stop was in Adare where we saw some amazing thatched cottages built in 1826 and a thatched shelter in the park where we could look at how the thatch works from beneath.
We are now back in Limerick where Percy teased the swans into thinking we had food for them before we headed to the hotel to pack our bags ready to head home.
