Misty Pentland Hills

A second day off.

A 50 mile bike ride down to the Scottish Borders. Started out grey, damp at West Linton. After then, it stays grey down to Romannobridge and Lyne station. While the distant hills say rain, the sky to the west is blue.

No wind today. So the riding is easy(ish). My legs don't feel so sore. From Lyne station, its over to Eddleston, Fala Toll road to the Top Gear road (B6372). Just after Mount Lothian I take the Extra photo of the Pentland Hills. The mist has cleared.

From here, it doesn't take long to cycle home.

After lunch I head down to Morningside. There's a bit of sun, then grey returns. Its been some time since I had coffee and cake. I go and find some.
