Watchstrap pin

So I started with an integrated plastic watchstrap, which split. I managed to cut it away, revealing sprung pins - good, although contributing nothing to the plastic strap. I ordered a fabric strap. Fitting it was fun because the pins are set very close to the body of the watch - and of course one of them sprang off and landed in the box of Useful Things on my desk. To find it I tipped everything out onto a tray and started hunting. The green arrow points to it. Now I can wear the watch again.

Let's have designs which allow for easy replacements.
