Good and bad

So today we discovered we have a mouse/mice getting into our house and under the kitchen cupboard. No droppings anywhere else but there. We had a guy come and check the house and put poison down. The kids were so interested. I cleaned everything anyway and boxed the one cupboard of food I have in my tiny kitchen. Thankfully no evidence inside the cupboards.
Sammy had school for two hours this afternoon which went very well, he came out happy and energetic.
And then this evening my friend told me she is pregnant with her third child, such happy news!
