No longer purple!

Those of you familiar with some of the quieter parts of the Lake District may remember the purple house (it was just that, at house painted purple) on the road which runs below Causey Pike. It was once the haunt of quite famous artists and poets but it became run down and then abandoned. It was sold a few years ago, suffered a fire, was demolished and has now been replaced with this very lovely new house.
I have to remind myself of the winters of 2009 and 2010 to prevent myself saying 'If I had enough money....'
