Resting up

Poor Elliott has had a tough time. He still has a little bit of a temperature but nothing worth worrying over. He was a bit unsettled first thing so I put him down on the couch. Having me close seems to help. It wasn't too long after I wandered off to do something that he woke up.

Today my new baby cups arrived in the post. It's an open top slanted cup that apparently is loved by bottle haters. I was a bit sceptical but with the weeks ticking by I needed to try something new. It worked really well. He'll need a bit of practice still as we spilled a fair bit, but at least he took it. He enjoyed 'helping' with the handles. He even nodded off after his feed, without me rocking him. This is the good progress I've been looking for so I can go to Auckland.
