Fragile Beauty

In a fragile environment, we need to be aware of ourselves as members of a uniquely powerful species living among other species who are quite as interesting as we are but vulnerable to us because we are cleverer in more destructive ways.

I've been out on the John Deere lawn tractor in the dusty heat. My back is not happy, so it was a rough ride. I'm going to ice it and rest this afternoon. T is in meetings today and then to the hospital. I don't have any updates as yet. C was very tired yesterday. Hard to know yet if this surgery did the trick.

For the Record,
This day came in hot and humid, same ol'same ol' weather day in day out. Very needed rain perhaps on Saturday, but could be torrential downpours.
