Raid on the sugar beet field

Steve nonchalantly announced "oh look, there's ponies in the field!" What?! They'd obviously escaped. We scrambled into action to try to stop them heading towards the road. Luckily the owner was eventually raised and all four of the escapees were safely gathered in. Quite a drama in our sleepy village this morning!

Earlier on, I'd left home at 5.45am, aiming to snap the sun as it peeped over the horizon. One minute before sunrise, a thick sea fret rolled in and my plan was dashed. Extras show one pic from my walk to the sea, and one from the walk home. Another stunning day here.
