If you are involved with small children you may know about the devil's* shop called Petit Bateau. Where you can't resist buying pretty but pricey children clothes. 

There's one here in Royan and they got a nice fat purchase from Mrs LP.

* A shop that draws you in against your best self discipline where you know you are going to spend more than you want but you still can't resist. For me its Bike Shops.
