Baby RBW

I've been trying to get a decent shot of this sweet young thing for a couple of weeks now. The parents have kept it away from the feeders where all the bird action is centered so this baby Red-bellied Woodpecker has been hanging out in the shadows. I'd seen it and heard it's call but could not for the life of me get a good photo...until this morning. Lo and behold, there it was, diving into the BarkButter like crazy, parents nowhere in sight. It has just a light shading of red on it's head and I see no red at all on it's belly, so the jury is still out on whether it's male or female. I would bet female, but who knows.
