The changing of the seasons

Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness .... and it certainly was this morning as we woke to very limited visibility.  Fortunately the mist lifted and we enjoyed a very warm day.

The leaves on the horse chestnut tree are changing from green to red very quickly, it's almost dark by eight o'clock ... I guess it's farewell to summer and a big welcome to the wonderful autumnal colours.
