Poor show

This is all our hydrangea has to offer this year ....

Another hot and sticky day ... Little treasures finding it difficult to focus in lessons! Had a difficult lesson with my year 8s who struggled to understand the concept that you can come from a different place to where you live... and who didn't understand the compass and how to look at a very basic map of France .....We got there in the end and we put together a few sentences in French.... The French content of the lesson was minimal ... Ofsted would have graded the lesson inadequate .... I believe the kids went away having understood something !
We are a comprehensive school! A good one! And we are in the top 20% nationally. But we still have kids who are very weak! Every child matters!!
