In the Langton's House Lake

One of the residents of Langton's House lake in the centre of Hornchurch. The serpentine pond was created by Humphry Repton, who lived locally, in the 18th century. The terrapins have been resident as long as I can remember, and I've still not worked out how they overwinter.
