A birthday, a funeral and an interview

Today has been a day of mixed emotions.

It is my niece E's 3rd birthday - happy birthday my little chatterbox!

I also have my first post graduation interview which I'm a little stressed and nervous about as not sure what sort of questions they will ask... Also feeling a bit weird about turning up with my cast, a trainer and balancing on crutches... The have been pre-warned about this situation but I still don't feel its a good omen...

I'm also very sad as today is my step-grandad Dennis' funeral. I'm heading straight up north after today's interview to attend. I've have not quite made sense of how I feel about the last of my grandparents passing ... But I do know how important it is to be with my family at this time and to have a chance to say goodbye.

My thoughts are mainly with family and close friends today.
