BlipaEwan 102...

This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. I take the same photo in the same place each 1st and 15th of each month along with a wee diary of what has happened and how life has progressed for each of them. Bethany on the 1st and Ewan on the 15th. It is quite remarkable and is accentuated by the 1 year ago thumbnail down in the bottom right.

That’s Ewan now in Primary 5.  He has Miss Sommerville and is in a single P5 class, not the composite class that he had last year that we were so concerned about.  The only thing is that he’s needing to up his game a wee bit where last year we reckon he was getting it a bit easy, this year his P5 peers are joining the P5 group that were composited with a P6 class so it kind of jumps up a stage.  There’s been a few instances of work coming home because it didn’t get finished in class but he is dealing quite well.

We’ve started letting him walk to and from school himself.  He even goes separately from his sister.  He does really well, crossing the road at the right points and going straight to school.  I know because the first couple of times I drove round the other way to keep an eye.  Quite hard to let them move on like that sometimes.

He did his first foray into YouTubing this month.  I set him up an account and helped him record his first YouTube Video.  In my opinion, it’s very generic like every other YouTube video of it’s ilk, but it may lead somewhere eventually.  I did warn him that it wasn’t very original but he pressed on.  You can see it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0WTgzQI7hg]here...

He’s wearing his rather nifty school bag we picked up on holiday.  I’m quite jealous of it.
