Fresher bonfire

Although my phone is fairly good at taking photos (whilst everyone else on here uses an actual camera), I do have to see the limitations at night time. It was the club freshers' bonfire so I headed down to East Sands bonfire to say hi to everyone. It was wonderful to see so many of my friends again - however drunk some of them already were when I turned up! It was also great to be able to meet new members and get them excited to join - although I'm very glad that I'm not involved in any club organisation this year. 

Here's a very blurry picture of Emily playing with fire poi - basically just spinning balls of fire attached to rope around. She managed to burn some of her hair off after a couple of minutes and gave up after that!  

I think I managed to stay out until about 3.30am. It seems late but a group stayed until 8am!
