Magnolia Dell....

I've had a wonderful day in the city at Christchurch Botanical Gardens, strolling through the gardens with blipper JMK by my side. Daffodils, snowflakes, grape hyacinths and the most beautiful magnolia's were all in flower.

A warm 21C with many people picnicking, strolling, kayaking on the Avon and also taking a leisurely punt on the Avon. Ducks and ducklings were looking for food while wood pigeons and silver-eye's were savouring the nectar, it was a truly relaxing and enjoyable day.

Home now with far too many shots taken, my computer is on the go slow so I've just quickly selected this one as I always love the two-toned magnolia's and love the background of this shot.

The weekend is here, it will be a busy one in flying's house, some gardening, window cleaning - inside and out, tidying and the normal house jobs and daughter A arrives home for a few days, how nice that will be.
