Meanwhile, back in the studio....

To help my client visualize how their proposed life-size deer will look in their circular garden, I bought a nearly life-size hunter's target; enlarged it a bit with more cardboard and mounted it on yardsticks. After we placed it, we all liked it and now I can begin in earnest. I'll make the foam bodies of the doe & fawn. BTW, we used one of their dogs to mimic the size of the fawn. And no, there won't be antlers on the doe!
