Summer's end

Today is supposed to be the end of summery weather here in Seattle.  After a high of about 73, we are looking forward to 65 and 100% chance of rain for tomorrow and the rest of the weekend, and then damp and low to mid-60's from then on.  So today I thought I would post this photo taken at Carkeek Park when it really was summer, of this young father and his little son.  These two redheads were a joy to watch, with so much love and gentleness evident.  The more I look at the photos I've taken there, the more I realize how very special Carkeek is.
