Boat ride, walk & tapas

A ferry across the Lake to Hawse End and then a leisurely walk to Lodore, searching for fungi after we got off the boat - lots about and the time we spent meant all the crowds that got off the ferry disappeared before we set off along the footpath. Very muddy in places and when we came across a heavily flooded section we headed uphill and joined a higher path, which meant we got to see some of the lake from above and also had chance to walk through a lovely forested area.  Lots of photos taken, though I've deleted most of them as the light was a bit flat.
A really enjoyable mini blip-meet this evening when we met up with Rainie and Doug and ate Tapas at Cafe Bar 26.  (Despite me muddling up the street it was on for another, we did make it OK.)  Well worth a visit if you are in Keswick.
