Flower Friday

After the rain this morning, it gradually brightened until around tea-time the sun came out. This coincided with my visit to check on my friends’ garden. There were a number of new plants beginning to flower. The Dahlia was one of them and the white petals of one really stood out against its dark foliage. Today’s blip, is a bloom from this plant that was being harvested by a very industrious bee. It is very aptly named After Eight.
