Protest in Westlake Park Downtown Seattle

This was a very moving event. The chanting and the drums were incredible.  The protest involves the debate over the construction of an oil pipeline near the Standing Rock Sioux reservation in North Dakota and is now a national issue. The 1,172-mile project would carry nearly a half-million barrels of crude oil daily from North Dakota's oil fields through South Dakota and Iowa to an existing pipeline in Patoka, Illinois. Tribe members say an oil spill would permanently contaminate the reservation's water supply. I will try to insert a link to some similar chanting.
