Swans on the Firth
A lovely, sunny day.
At the Doctor this morning, working out a plan to adjust some medication and set up a monitoring program for my kidneys by taking blood samples. The figures are not as good as they were when I came out of hospital but not as low as when I went in!
In the afternoon, we went on a walk/scooter along the shore to Monifieth from Broughty Ferry. We noticed a gathering of swans, apparently called a 'bevy of swans'. In Glasgow 'bevy has a completely different meaning! We had never seen so many this far down the shoreline - normally they are around the busier parts of the Broughty Ferry town shoreline. The extra photo is of the view looking back to Broughty Ferry which shows how sunny a day it was.
After coming home I watched Andy Murray lose a titanic five set match with Juan Martin Del Potro in the Davis Cup Semi-Final being played in Glasgow. Sadly, Kyle Edmund also lost his match so GB are down 2-0 in a best of 5 match. I hope they do better in the next couple of days.
