Blip from a Ship

I suppose that time just had to arrive.  It’s the inevitable result of being on the lecture Circuit; I have been asked to give a talk to the Flotta ‘Over 50s’ Club.  My agent is busy talking to their people.

I went in past Stromness Library today and ordered 5 books.  By chance I met my mother in there and I had to borrow CMC’s library card.  I got a bollocking in stereo.

Then we went on a cruise to Hoy and attended the AGM and a Committee Meeting of the Friends of the Hoy Kirk.  An excellent talk was provided in the evening by Neil Leask all about West End in Quoyness.

Congratulations to Desmond, who blips out of Duluth, as he spotted CMC in the crowd scene in my Blip No 305. He wins 2,000 loyalty points and a weekend to be taken during the week.

The highlight of the day however has to be my m-in-law saying to me ‘You’re not right upstairs’.  CMC concurred.
