Persimmon

To even photo this is special.  We bought this tree about 10 years ago.  The next few years it produced a few to eat, then last year there were a dozen that mysteriously disappeared before they started to ripen.  This year we have a good size crop.  Some are beginning to ripen  a month early- and darn, looks like we will be gone when the good harvest can begin.  Did taste one tonight.  A delicious fragile fruit.    Hope we get a few more.
