No! Really??

I mean - the things you see when you least expect it.  Only a pair of sacred kingfishers!  One of the blessings of a lot of water I guess.

These are really uncommon birds in these parts, and it took me a few moments to realise what I was looking at.

We have a forecast of more rain today, but it's dry this morning so I took the opportunity to go for a bit of a hike - well worth it - the park is a wonderland of flowers; it looks more like a garden that a bit of bush.

The picture in extras is for the Rower -the Upper Waterfall, and tomorrow if I can, I'll get to the Lower Waterfall which is apparently much more spectacular.
