the toothless wonder

Friday is our day to pick up Fiona from 1st grade.   She was so excited today to show us her latest smile!   We wanted to go on a “field trip” but she wanted to hang out here so we had snacks, made up jigsaw puzzles, cleaned out the toy box (wow, she’s a great help  she’s got it down, the giveaway pile, the throwaway pile and the keep.   The giveaway was huge.  hurray!  and she drew pictures on the backs of the old wooden puzzles.)    We did spend time at our neighborhood playground —she has never ending scenarios for us to play - and now she can make the pancakes!   I think she LOVES 1st grade.  We heard a lot about it.,  Had to record the 4 teeth gone… in her note to the tooth fairy complete with drawings of many kids with a tooth under their pillows, she said “Im glad you exist!”
