THE LAVANT TIN MINE MUSEUM.
While staying at St Ives we had a day trip round the tin mines, it's a National Trust sight. The Levant mine was a rich copper producer from 1820 until 1850, and a major producer of tin thereafter. Part of the mine is under the sea and it belongs to the National Trust who give underground tours. It was a very enjoyable day out.
