Harrogate Flower Show

 JH arrived last night and has given me a lovely Birthday treat today.  We went to  the Show at Harrorgate - amazing displays of flowers, lots of stalls for food, gifts etc.      This is  'The Meru Garden for Life' by the local Soroptimist to show how the women who live in a very poor and malnourished area of Kenya,  are learning to help themselves by developing the 'gardens' around their houses to feel themselves better and have additional vegetables & fruit to sell to provide income.  We then had a lovely meal in an Italian Restaurant before going to  the Playhouse to see 'Anniversary' a piece of contemporary Theatre by a group of older performers still very active in their 60s, 70s and even 80s.   Thank you JH for a very enjoyable Birthday
