The bridge...

Catching up on blip after returning from a 'survival' week in the Ardennes with grade 8 students. After a delayed start (many people got stuck in traffic behind a big accident on the Antwerp ring coming to school) we set out towards Dinant. The bus dropped us at a parking area close to an old quarry. We were met by our guides from Mountain Network and had to walk towards the field where we would set up bivouac.
Before building the shelters for the night we walked to the Dinant Adventure Park in the old quarry. Here students (and most teachers) climbed the whole climbing course through the trees and over the bridges, incl. this one at the top of the quarry.
